Last year, we hosted a similar conversation with teachers from across the state.

The program was also video-recorded and live-streamed via WNPR.org. Here is a recorded video of Where We Teach:

During the Where We Teach event, we screened a new documentary about an elementary school in South Carolina, "180 Days: Hartsville." The film takes us through a year of a Southern town’s efforts to address the urgent demand for reform in American public schools. Watch what happens when the systems that can either fuel or diffuse that reform — bureaucracy, economic opportunity and fixed mindsets — interact and intersect.

"180 Days Hartsville" will be broadcast on CPTV on Tuesday night, March 17 at 8:00 pm. If you missed it, you can watch on-demand, online.
