If you listen to public radio, you probably know her name. If you don’t listen to public radio, then you probably know her name from the massively popular Serial podcast. Julie Snyder is the senior producer of This American Life and she’s the co-creator of that show’s spinoff podcast, which told the story of Hae Min Lee's murder in 1999 and the conviction of her ex-boyfriend AdnanSyed.
Snyder is coming to Hartford for a special conversation with the Connecticut Forum and she’ll be joined by Serial host Sarah Koenig. Snyder joins us to preview her appearance.
Later in the hour, the Washington Post’s media reporter calls-in to discuss Seymour Hersh’s latest report on the killing of Osama bin Laden. He says many of the facts told by the Obama administration are false and Pakistan knew about the terrorist leader’s whereabouts for years.
At the end of the show, we want to know from you: What’s your favorite greatest hits album? Come on, we know you own at least one (other than Legend – yes, that Bob Marley and the Wailers album is actually a greatest hits collection).
