Back in 2010, a resolution was passed by U.S. House of Representatives making the second week of September "Arts in Education Week" -- a week designed to spotlight the role and importance of the arts in our schools.

As this year’s Arts in Education comes to a close, we’re listening back on an arts education conversation we had recently at Hartford Prints! in downtown Hartford.

We hear from a panel of musicians and arts educators, who discussed the ways in which the arts can better engage students and enhance their overall learning experience. We also listen to special live performance by New Haven band Elison Jackson.
