Carrie Fisher.

In 2008, the late Carrie Fisher spent a few weeks in Hartford, performing in her one-woman show "Wishful Drinking" at Hartford Stage.

I remember the performance well: funny, irreverent, and brutally honest.

The performance was memorable for another reason. Sitting directly in front of me, dressed to the nines, was none other than Debbie Reynolds.

Reynolds and her daughter actually performed together that night, an unscripted bit of comedy while the crew at Hartford Stage worked out some technical issues.

I spoke with Carrie Fisher about her performance in "Wishful Drinking" and her life for The Faith Middleton Show. Listen below to the segment that aired in August 2008.
