It’s commencement season, and yesterday at Harvard University, soul legend Aretha Franklin was awarded an honorary Doctor of Arts degree. And just in case anyone doubted the degree was deserved, Franklin sat down at the piano, and schooled those in attendance, with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Well, it's the season for college commencements. And we want to note one. Yesterday at Harvard, Aretha Franklin was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Arts degree. But the doctorate seemed redundant. She sat down at the piano and took those in attendance to school with her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
