Jeff Cohen Writes Eva and Sadie and the Worst Haircut EVER!
During his time as a WNPR reporter, Jeff Cohen has interviewed countless leaders in government, industry, health care and education.
But perhaps his most famous – and personal – interview was about a sisterly quarrel. And he didn’t even have to leave home to do it.
When Cohen’s five-year-old daughter Sadie decided her three-year-old sister Eva needed a haircut, she took matters into her own hands…with disastrous results. Cohen’s interview with both girls on the aftermath of the “worst haircut ever” proved to a hilarious viral hit.

Now this recording is being turned into a charming children’s book, Eva and Sadie and the Worst Haircut EVER! Written by Jeff Cohen and illustrated by Elanna Allen, the book offers a sweet and relatable take on sibling relationships.
"This story began as a bit of family storytelling that ended up reaching more people than we ever could have imagined," Cohen said. "Soon, it will get new life as a children's book. We hope it will bring readers as much joy as it has brought us."
