Yale University is making the transition from Calhoun College to Grace Murray Hopper College. Although the name change won't be official until July 1, changes are underway at the residential college, including a plan to replace a number of stained glass windows to better reflect the legacy of Grace Hopper.

“2017 is the year of the woman,” says Patricia Russo. Russo is the executive director of the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University, a program that trains women who want to run for public office. It’s been in existence for over twenty years, but Russo says this year is different. There is an unprecedented level of interest in the training sessions.

It's been an interesting week for Connecticut U.S. Senators. President Donald Trump said Richard Blumenthal misrepresented a conversation with Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. In a tweet, Trump called out the Senator for an incident in 2010: "Sen. Richard Blumenthal, who never fought in Vietnam when he said for years he had (major lie)."
