The remnants of the old WNPR newsroom, which will be renovated over the next six weeks.

Our newsroom moved. The old one was fine but we outgrew it. Those digs were like a teenage bedroom. We had bumper stickers, magazine covers, flags and other odds and ends covering our walls. The only thing missing was that poster of Johnny Cash giving the middle finger to the camera.

That old newsroom is being renovated into a new, hip, 21st century collaborative work space. Meanwhile, the WNPR staff has moved to the other side of the building. However, nothing will change from the listener-end. The changes are only to our Hartford workspace.

The old newsroom overlooked the world headquarters of The Rock 106.9 WCCC (#RIP). Our temporary newsroom overlooks the world headquarters of the Connecticut Board of Regents.
