The Wheelhouse: Many Voters #FeelTheBern, Does the Media?

Sen. Bernie Sanders leads or closely trails Hillary Clinton in key polls.

The Iowa caucus is nearly five months away and candidates continue to jockey for the limelight. Many supporters of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders are talking about their candidate like he's Rodney Dangerfield: he gets no respect. Sanders' social media-savvy supporters have not shied away from criticizing media outlets (including this one) for its coverage.

This hour, our weekly news roundtable The Wheelhouse discusses the presidential race and some campaigns closer to home. Mayoral candidates across the state have one week before their party faithful hit the polls.

Also, a new idea has been floated for how to replace the I-84 viaduct in Hartford. Should officials shut down a stretch of the highway and replace the viaduct quickly, or keep traffic moving and extend the length of the project?
