There can be only one.

In 1985, it was "Shout." In 2003, it was "Crazy in Love." In 2012, it was "Call Me Maybe." In 2014, it was "Fancy."

The song of the summer for 2015, though, is still up for grabs.

This Thursday, The Colin McEnroe Show will investigate what it takes -- and what it means -- to be the top anthem of the summer.

DJ Brendan Jay Sullivan said there arethree main criteria for the song: it must be new; it must grab the listener's attention quickly; and it can only be a temporary fling. According to Glamour senior editor Amanda Dobbins, there can only be one song of the summer.

"The Song of Summer, by its very definition, is a consensus choice," Dobbinswrote in a 2014 Vulture.com article

What do you think this year's song of the summer will be?
