Voters Talk in Hartford's Bushnell Park About Their Concerns This Election Season

CPBN
Justin Williams of Hamden said he thinks job creation is important in Connecticut.

CPBN's Media Lab students stopped by Hartford's Bushnell Park last week to ask voters which issues matter most to them this election season.

"People need a lot of help, especially those that are working in places that pay the minimum wage," said Anibal Cordona of Hartford. "Definitely, that needs to go up."

"Taxes -- lowering them," said Julie Jarvis of Newington. "They’re ridiculous right now. I’m just getting out of college. Student loans are out of control. So I think those are the two biggest ones."

The video was produced by Kareemah Muhammad as videographer and Jenna Tomasco as interviewer.
