VIDEO: Violent Mae Performs Live in WNPR's Studios

Even though they just released their debut, self-titled album, Violent Mae still had new, unreleased material up their sleeves.

The duo of Becky Kessler and Floyd Kellogg recently stopped by WNPR's studios for a live taping of Where We Live. Two of the five songs were not on the album, but they indicate a strong sophomore outing for the band.

Since this was originally broadcast over the radio, listeners missed out on seeing the equipment that accompanied the band. Becky's amp dates back to the LBJ era, and Floyd's large drum set adds a logistical wrinkle in most settings.

SETLIST:

  • "Rob Me Blind"
  • "Any Time You Fall"
  • "Worn Out My Welcome"
  • "Right Here"
  • "I Owe You One"
