They’re both Democrats, but Jonathan Pelto and Patrick Scully don’t exactly see eye-to-eye.

Their differences largely stem from the recently ratified labor concessions deal.

Pelto - a progressive former state lawmaker - was disappointed in Governor Malloy’s handling of the deal and said he wanted his 2010 vote back.

Scully - a communications consultant and Democratic insider - thinks that party critics like Pelto should count their blessings...at least Republican Tom Foley didn’t win in November.

Today, we talk with Pelto and Scully about their disagreements over the job governor Malloy has done, and what it means to be a “good Democrat” in 2011.
