The Race For Attorney General; Oprah 2020?

This week, Governor Dannel Malloy called for a ban on "bump stocks" -- devices that can make semi-automatic weapons fire like machine guns. Pfizer announced plans to end research into treatments for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases -- and they announced several hundred layoffs including at their facility in Groton.

Meanwhile, the race for attorney general is on. Clare Kindall, William Tong, Chris Mattei, and others have thrown their hat in the ring. Andrew McDonald, Connecticut's first openly gay justice, was nominated by Malloy as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

This hour, all this...and a possible Oprah 2020 bid?
