What a strange day. I've just been reading the final tweets of a very young journalist named Jessica Ghawi also known as Jessica Redfield.
The tweets have to do with her excitement about attending the midnight premiere of "The Dark Knight Rises" at a multiplex theater about 10 miles east of Denver. She's teasing her friends who didn't make the trip. Her last Tweet complains that the movie still hasn't started.
Even more eerily, Jessica wrote on her blog earlier this month about a close brush with a similar fate: "I can't get this odd feeling out of my chest. This empty, almost sickening feeling won't go away. I noticed this feeling when I was in the Eaton Center in Toronto just seconds before someone opened fire in the food court. An odd feeling which led me to go outside and unknowingly out of harm's way. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around how a weird feeling saved me from being in the middle of a deadly shooting." One of the voices from Aurora, Colorado.
