I think is going to be a pretty bad storm.
As it approaches, pulse rates go up. All the little physical and mental indices of fear begin to creep in and it's hard to sort out how much of that is warranted and how much is ginned up by a big nebulous fear industry.
The two big storms of 2012 certainly taught us that sometimes the forecasters are not crying wolf. And this storm looks bigger and badder than either of those two. One of the topics on the Nose today is how to sort out real worry from the media-fueled drumbeat of doom.
We also hope to have time for musings about the presidential race, the curious case of Indiana's Richard Mourdock, and what Bruce Springsteen has to say about the way we age alongside our rock 'n' roll heroes.
