From The Time Machine to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, many movies either focus on scientists or are rooted in science. As part of a national program, Hartford's Real Art Ways is trying to bring film and science even closer together.
"Science on Screen" comprises of a series of movies that are introduced by scientists, doctors and researchers with expertise in a related field. Tonight (1/10), the genetic engineering film Gattaca will be introduced by the Director of Genetics Research at Hartford Hospital, Dr. Gualberto Ruaño.
