An industry group wants to see Connecticut increase its power generation from fuel cells six-fold over the next ten years.
The Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster said a greater concentration on fuel cells would help meet the projected increase in demand for power, while contributing to energy efficiency and reductions in greenhouse gases. There are currently 28 megawatts of fuel cell generation deployed in Connecticut, according to the group.
