Democratic Governor Dannel Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will appear twice on the November ballot. The Working Families Party on Tuesday announced it endorsed the pair for re-election.
In addition to the Democratic Party line, the ticket will also appear on the third party's ballot line, which is Row C.
Lindsay Farrell, the party's executive director, called Malloy a "champion for working and middle class families and the uninsured." She said he's been an ally on issues such as paid sick leave and increasing the state's minimum wage.
Several candidates sought the party's endorsement, including petitioning candidate Jonathan Pelto and Republican Senator John McKinney.
Pelto said the Working Families Party "squandered the opportunity to stand up and do the right thing for the real working families of Connecticut."
