Since the 1970s, musicians Paul Howard, Tom Hagymasi, and Phil Zimmerman have been performing together as Last Fair Deal. They’re a local trio whose music puts an original twist on the old-style sound of American roots music.
This hour Paul, Tom, and Phil stop by our Studio 3 to share some of the music they've been performing together for the past four decades.
And later -- are you looking for a way to experience high culture without breaking your piggy bank? Go to the Rust Belt, says Alec MacGillis. We take a look at why cities like Cleveland, St. Louis, and Detroit are continuing to offer art at a surprisingly low cost.
