The 25th Anniversary Trees of Hope Fundraising Spectacular will be aglow with gorgeously decorated Christmas trees at the New Haven Maritime Building. The festive event, chaired by WNPR's Faith Middleton, benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut.

"Not long after it opened," says Faith, "Diane Orson and I spent hours interviewing volunteers at Ronald McDonald House for a WNPR special that awed our listeners. Here was a wayside, a place for families to stay and repair during their children's cancer treatment. It was one of the most important and moving experiences I've had on the show. What an immense privilege it is to serve as chair on this 25th anniversary, celebrating such an invaluable service, as well as volunteers and donors."

Trees of Hope's preview night is Friday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  ?Admissions is free; raffle tickets are $1. The tree display is open to the public Dec. 6–14.

For more than 25 years, the two-time Peabody Award-winning Faith Middleton Show has been widely recognized for fostering insightful, thought-provoking conversation. Faith Middleton offers her listeners some of the world's most fascinating people and subjects. The show has been inducted into the Connecticut Magazine Hall of Fame as "Best Local Talk Show".
