Call-In: Celebrate Someone for an Act of Kindness

Please consider this an invitation. Call us today from 3 to 4 p.m. at 203 776-9677 to participate in our live show, celebrating friends and strangers for their everyday generosity.

Spotlighting generosity has been a tradition on our show, but we are especially excited because WNPR has partnered with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to create a testimonial archive of stories of everyday generosity in our midst.

Starting today, a WNPR team will collect storiesat 15 locations throughout Central Connecticut. It's your chance to be recorded as you describe someone for a kindness, to celebrate an unsung hero, or to inspire others to come forward with a personal story of giving. Each participant will leave with a full version of the recorded story, and an invitation to participate in a community-wide storytelling project.

Join the conversation by email, on Twitter, or on Facebook.
