Police expect charges for the man who jumped into the Connecticut River with his seven month old son.

Police say the body of a seven-month-old boy who has been missing since his father jumped into the Connecticut River with him two days ago has been found.

Aaden Moreno's body was found near a swing bridge in East Haddam shortly before 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. He had been missing since Sunday. Police say his father, 22-year-old Tony Moreno, jumped from the Arrigoni Bridge between Middletown and Portland. Dive teams and helicopters had been searching for him.

Firefighters pulled Moreno from the river. He was hospitalized in serious condition.

Police say charges are expected.

Middletown police spokesperson Lt. Heather Desmond says the department's thoughts, "are with Aaden and his family at this time of sorrow."
