Greg Hill

Website Content Coordinator

Connecticut native Greg Hill is a poet and writer who worked as an independent contractor in the CPBN Web Department as its Online Content Coordinator before joining the staff full-time in 2013 as the Website Content Coordinator.

Hill began working for CPBN in the Media Lab in 2011, and, in addition to his work in the Web department, is featured occasionally as a voice talent opposite producer Chion Wolf in intros to WNPR's Colin McEnroe Show, which he live-tweets.

Prior to joining CPBN, Hill had careers in academic fundrasing as well as teaching high school English. He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Creative Writing masters degree, both from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Hill has lived all over Connecticut, including Lakeville, Kent, West Hartford and Madison.

Dick Allen

CPBN Media Lab

Dick Allen retired from his position as Charles A. Dana Endowed Chair Professor at the University of Bridgeport in 1999, after an accomplished and lauded career. He became Poet Laureate for the state of Connecticut on July 1, 2010, beginning a five-year term in that role. Allen is a winner of numerous poetry awards, including the Robert Frost Prize for Poetry, the Hart Crane Poetry Prize, the Pushcart Prize, and the Connecticut Book Award in Poetry. He was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
